Little Bita Christmas Arts & Crafts Show

Wow! That was fun!

We had a great time at the Little Bita Christmas Arts & Crafts show at the ASU Convocation Center last weekend. There was a great crowd and I loved hanging out with the other girls in the booth. I was up there most of Saturday with my oldest and my youngest and on Sunday with just the baby. It was great to see and meet so many people.(Does everyone in the free world know Amy Barrett?! lol) Allison (aka "the baby") was so good. She was decked out in a tutu and flower hair bow most of the weekend and many people commented on how cute/pretty she was. What mom doesn't love to hear that? I had her in a car seat on the table for a little while and it was a hoot to hear people ask if she was real.

I also debuted my new Belly Baby tutus. These are made on a crochet head band with tulle only half way around. This allows you to lay the baby down on their belly for pictures or hold them without all that tulle in the way. Putting the tulle in the front allows you put baby in a car seat, stroller or propped up for pictures without baby laying on the tulle. They were really popular and would make a great shower gift at only $15. They can be done with any color combination. Think pale pink for precious newborn photos, or bubblegum for a more bright and modern look. Red and green would make for some great shots in front of the Christmas tree. I'll post with some pictures of Allison modeling hers soon!

If you placed an order or bought a tutu - Thank you! I hope to have all orders shipped by the end of next week.

Another great big thanks to the other girls (ladies?) in the booth.

Happy Birthday TUTU Selene!

We recently celebrated Selene's 2nd birthday. As you can see I made sure she looked tutu cute! These tutu overalls are the new thing I wanted to share. I know it took me too long to update, but we did add another tutu wearer to our home. Allison was born in August and time just slipped away from me. I'm already off maternity leave and back at work.
I also made the older girls rainbow tutu overalls. The rainbow was actually their idea, and I think it was a great one!

I'm accepting orders now for Halloween costumes, Holiday Tutus and these cute Tutu overalls which start at $50.

Slow Down!

Well, I haven't completely stopped yet, but things are finally winding down. The older girls had their ballet recital, soccer is done, T-ball is over this weekend, and softball will be wrapping up shortly. Nothing left to do but NEST!

I know I promised a new product soon - and I'll get those up soon. I just have to get some good pictures done.

I also have another item I hope to start on tonight. I'm making up one for each of the girls and I'm really excited about them. It requires a sewing machine so I'm a little nervous.

The big news today is I finished an adorable patriotic tutu outfit for a custom order. I'm really liking it. I'm not sure about the hair bow, but I'll readily admit those are not my strong suit.
Here are a couple of shots of the whole outfit:

Busy Busy Busy

Well, the good news is our family is growing. We will be adding another little girl to our troupe around the middle of August. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.

The bad news is I haven't had much time to blog. I'm doing tutus for one class at F.M.E Ballet's recital. I should have some pictures of those up soon. I have some cool new items to add to I-Spy bags, look for some themed bags for little boys coming soon. I've also been working on updating the older girls' room and revamping the nursery. I decided that after 4 little ones and almost 9 years of constant use, a new bedding set is in order. Special thanks to my mom and friend, Wendy for taking care of the sewing for that project.

The new news is I have a cool new product that I'm dying to show everyone. I enjoy making these almost as much as I do making tutus. Look for details coming soon!
